“Proof” is not one thing. Each rung proves something more specific and harder to dispute. Summit moves you from an assertion to a record anyone can check.

A claim
“Trust us, the agent did the right thing.”
Proves nothing. The record is editable and no one has to answer for it.

A log
A line appears in a service somewhere.
Debug data. Scattered, editable after the fact, often silent on whether the action was allowed.

A Decision Receipt
Request, policy applied, verdict, sealed into one packet.
Proves the receipt contains the declared fields for that action.

A hash-linked chain
Each receipt linked to the one before by a cryptographic hash.
Alter one receipt and the hashes stop matching. The chain breaks, and it shows where.

Independent replay
A third party recomputes the chain and replays the decisions.
Proves the record is intact and verifiable without taking your word for it.
